About Obsidian Devices

We refurbish off-lease laptops and used/new Pixels, set them up with Linux or GrapheneOS, and sell them locally — not a drop-shipped flash job, a real refurb-and-test process behind every listing.

Personal setup, not a drop-shipped flash job

Every unit is refurbished, tested, and configured by hand for the buyer who's actually going to use it — not a random eBay listing or a one-size-fits-all image.

Encryption and opsec configured for your threat model

You pick a tier and a build configuration, and we set it up correctly for that use case, rather than leaving you to figure out full-disk encryption or a privacy app stack on your own.

Local, in-person presence

Handoff in person is the default here, which also means no shipping-interception step between us finishing setup and you having the device — a real concern for some of the people we sell to.

Get in touch

The fastest way to reach us is to message us directly from any listing — those conversations are end-to-end encrypted, so you can ask about condition, specs, or a custom configuration before you buy. See our process & tiers or the FAQ for common questions.
